I designed this frame to replace a beta95x v3 frame which is quite specific and not very suitable for the parts I mounted on it.
Moreover, this frame was not rigid and flew very badly.
So I designed this fully 3D printable frame. It is a bit heavier than the old one but its higher stiffness and improved airflow make it fly better and have at least as much flight time as the old one.
The design consists of 4 parts:
The trellis frame, quite thick and printed in PLA pro 30% infill, very rigid.
The prop-guards, PLA pro, thinner but 100% infill, flexible and reasonably resistant to shocks.
These two parts are joined together by 4 m3 screws.
A PLA support for vtx and rx.
Finally, a 2-in-1 TPU mount for Runcam racer nano 3 and Runcam thumb pro, with anti-jello system.
Printed on Tronxy Crux1 with Overture PLA pro and Sainsmart TPU 95A filament.
