I've developed a system for remembering when I last fed the fish. This started as a large index card with days of the week printed on it. When I lifted the container to feed the fish, I would just put it down over the day of the week. That way if I couldn't remember if I fed the fish today I could just look at where the container was sitting.
After about two years of using this system I got a 3D printer and I wanted to make something that looked neater than a dirty piece of paper taped to the counter.
Introducing my invention, the fish feeding indicator.
