I often need a screen of some sort in to be free standing on my desk, e.g. when connecting a laptop to a larger monitor and wanting the two screens side by side.
Conventional stands can be used to raise but for the above application they typically fail in one or more of the following manners: (a) does not raise the screen by enough, (b) does not free up any desk space, (c) does not serve any other purpose.
This design works was prepared for a Dell 13" laptop but will accommodate others too, provided that it's screen can actually be opened completely i.e. to 180 degrees (else it will topple).
And it should work for any tablet or phone. Pic shows an Iphone and Samsung.
I've used 20% fill and it works just fine.
