For newer BMW motorcycle models with the Navigation prep, this is a RAM ball mount that fits onto the navigation prep. I secured it to my nav prep with some machine bolts and secured the nuts into the lower piece by pressing them in with a soldering iron.
Bottom and top piece are primarily geometry by boujut, I added a standardized RAM ball male piece to his work. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5827956
