The C4 Corvette (1984-1996) uses shims to adjust the proper mounting of the rest of the removable targa top roof. These are located behind the trim above your B-pillar and adjust how far forward the mounting nuts sit. These are routinely adjusted if you need to install new weatherstripping or a new top.
These are very simple pieces of metal, but are very expensive on Corvette vendor sites. Simply print out this model and either use it directly in your vehicle, or as a template to cut from sheet metal.
Installation is simple. Loosely tighten the horizontal portion on one nut. Drop the other end with the vertical slat onto the second nut. Add as many as necessary to align mount, then tighten.
