The Creality K1 printer has easy-to-use slots around the exhaust fan, allowing snap-on filters to be attached. There has been some discussion of restricting air flow if a filter is placed directly over the exhaust fan, this design provides significantly increased surface area for the filter to reduce any restriction.
There are several examples available. Some require assembly, some have a simple “trap the filter material to the printer” approach. My design simply snaps together (although the tolerances are perhaps a little tight for the snaps), and prints with no supports.
I use cut-to-size activated carbon material, in my case “Breathe Naturally Universal 16x48 Cut-to-Fit Activated Carbon Filter”. The space in the filter holder allows stacking the material if you wish.
