It works fine with my DSLR and even with a 400mm tele
Needs a 1/4"-20 screw (I prefer brass 3/4")
Print with 5 layers top and bottom and 5 perimeters or more for strength and rigidity
I used a 30% star fill (slic3r) and printed as shown in the STL withouth supports or brim.
