This is a Japanese-inspired hand fan. I've tested it a bit, and it seems to work well. The nut that the blades slide onto, and the bolt that holds the blades in printed perfectly on my printer, but your results might vary. The fan blades themselves slide onto the nut and rotate on it just fine with the tolerances I put into it, though once again, results may vary. The fan itself is approximately 36mm tall and 215mm long. the nut and bolt add another 6mm at the base making it 44mm tall at the tallest. The fan itself contains a total of 18 blades, and each blade took me a little less than 30 minutes to print each, though your machine might be faster or slower. I printed the blades in a couple of different amounts of infill, but I personally don't see any reason to go about 15% which is what I stuck with. The fan itself covers a 135-degree arc and produces an adequate (at least for me) amount of air motion. The fan itself has two different models, one is the fan blades, and the other is the fan blades top. the only difference between the two is that the top does NOT have the tab that slides in the groove under each blade so that it doesn't catch on anything. I don't recommend dropping the fan, as that caused one of my tests to break. However, I did decide to make another version that has wider tabs to increase their strength, but I don't know if it's too necessary. I decided to just upload both of the tab designs. The models included are both types of fan blades, their tops, and the nut and bolt. I also uploaded them individually and together. It's super redundant but whatever. Print at your own risk, I'm (hopefully) not responsible for failed prints… not that mine have failed (yet).

Edit* Oh yeah, depending on your printer, you might have to trip the very top tips of the tabs because on my printer the tips of the tabs flared up a little bit (my setup is bad) and added a bit too much friction to the fan for my liking. Though who knows, maybe you prefer more friction between the blades.

Edit 2* In hindsight my description is a bit long… Oh well, instead of shortening it, I'll simply add this here.

Edit 3* I was thinking about making a PiP version, but I decided not to. Maybe I'll do it one day…

Edit 4* After a little tiny bit more testing, I've realized that my Fan Blade version 4 is just simply better than version 2. So I'll still keep it uploaded, but I've decided to move v2 to the bottom of the list. Use it if you want, but it's not quite as robust as v4. (v3 was a test model that didn't succeed in case you're wondering)

Edit 5* I just realized that my design works better in the right hand. Left-handed version inbound soon.

Edi 6* Added Left-handed version
