Introducing a highly user-friendly and adaptable key organizer system. The often overlooked potential of hook and loop material truly shines when applied thoughtfully. By incorporating 3D printed components, a simple hook-and-loop cable tie can be transformed into a practical holder for one or two keys. Given that I have seen many cable tie solutions this  competition, it's likely that many participants will find these keyholders quite useful and won't have to buy any additional parts. (my cable ties where 11.6 mm wide and around 0.8 thick)

Unlike traditional key organizers that have limited space, this system offers limitless expansion possibilities. The process of hanging up or retrieving keys is remarkably swift and, from personal experience, quite enjoyable.

Two variations of the keyholder are available: one with an oval-shaped aperture and the other with a circular one. Additionally, a small amount of super glue is necessary for assembling each keyholder. For the rear looped surface, one can opt for either broad self-adhesive rolls or, as I did, adhere the loop side onto a board. Using narrower or longer strips is also a viable option.

In the future I want to add models for boards for the back with maybe a catch-all tray or maybe other attachments for clothes and so on. last semester I had a project where my team and I also used hook and loop for a similar use case and where really impressed with the hook and loop material. this is why I was really hobby to the this competition using hook and loop. I had the chance to make these keychains I wanted to create for our Projekt but didn't really have the time to model and photograph and make them look nice.

If you're interested in that project, you can check out my latest post on Instagram :) It was my third semester studying Product Design. https://www.instagram.com/michelmussmehr_machen

If you have any questions or ideas, I would love to hear them.
