Usage: turn the knob clockwise to expose the pin a certain amount and read the measured distance off the side where the line of the slide and markings on the side align.
Uses M3 countersunk screw to attach the knob to the piston. To attach the pin to the piston you can use either a M3 set screw or just glue it in.
Use low layer heights on the threaded parts. Threads have modeled offsets so they should fit if the print is good.
The slider should rotate freely around the piston after assembly.
Assembly is simple. Take piston and slide on in order: slider, spacer, cap and then screw knob on top. Pin might need some sanding, but make sure it hits the bottom of the hole before you glue it, or else your measurement will be off.
If you use a set screw to attach the pin you could replace the it with a roughly 3 mm diameter and 30.8 mm long metal pin.
