This is a highly customizable skimmer prefilter cage designed for the SeaChem Tidal line of filters. It is designed to be customized with OpenSCAD to fit your specific needs and contains 11 different parameters for you to tweak it to your specific needs.
STLs are provided for Tidal 55, 75, and 110, sized to fit a 1 inch thick filter sponge.
If you have another filter in the Tidal line and don't know how to use OpenSCAD, shoot me a message with measurements I'll be happy to build you an stl.
Since many people in the fishkeeping community do not have 3d printers, I've put my models on imaterialise. I do not receive compensation of any form when you use their services. For the Tidal 55 print click here, and for the Tidal 75 or 110 click here.
Changelog:
- v2: Added fillets to the face to make it look less boxy. Added a variable to offset the starting point for when the bars are drawn. This allowed me to fix the bars not being centered on the version for the 75 and 110.
