When using the build-in port or a large hose, more than 10cm of water remain and you will have to shovel out the water, in order to properly clean the pool.
This adapter uses an ordinary garden hose (and some sort of weight to hold it down) and results in less than 1cm of water remaining in the pool.
The rest can easily be sucked out with a vacuum.
Simply use a large hose to clear most of the water and then use this adapter to do the rest.
