I found this hotplate for super cheap in a store and decided it would be a good project to learn more about Fusion 360. I printed the replacement shell out of wood PLA and then sanded and stained it. The button is printed out of clear PEGT. I also spray-painted the metal piece that heats up with high-heat paint.
The effect is hard to capture on camera, but it really does look like it's made of wood.
I used a .6 nozzle because I was using wood filament. I also printed it standing up to get the grain to look right.
If you sand the shell you may need to make the button bigger or glue it in.
