A detailed coaster inspired by Helmut Vogel's phyllotaxis model for sunflowers.
Vogel's model is based on the Fermat spiral and the golden angle, two interesting mathematical topics that I encourage you to research!
The coaster of the STL file has a thickness of 2.75 mm, and an approximate diameter of 100 mm, which results in the precise placement of 421 hemispheres forming this sunflower-like pattern.
The provided parametric OpenScad file allows you to change the thickness and the diameter of the coaster (the number of hemispheres is computed accordingly).
