I needed new lampshades for my Farelek ceiling fan because the LED bulbs were blinding us so a full cover was required. We can now have both our well lighted living room AND non-blinding LEDs!

It should work for all ceiling fans where lampshades are being hold my 3 screws (base diameter for my model is 54mm)

Print everything with a 0.4 nozzle and ~0.4mm wall width for best results.

Lampshade has its base 0.8mm wide for strength and the rest 0.4mm wide to let more light through.

Cover is 0.4mm wide everywhere light goes through with an extra 0.2mm (thus 0.2mm wall height will give best results) for the version with patterns. Bambu Slicer required number of walls to be set to 1 and “detect thin walls” to be checked to slice correctly.

Don't print with PLA unless your lightbulbs are really low powered, 8W LEDs was enough to heat the ceiling fan's metal body high enough to bend the PLA that is in contact at its base. With PETG it's totally fine (picture is taken with Sunlu's white PETG)

Covers are just clipped on the bases. Base is 160mm wide and covers are 159.6mm wide so you have to force them around a bit but once on they're firmly clipped.

I printed the lampshades with the narrow side on the bottom since it's more rigid but I believe either way should work. Covers are printed on the flat visible side so your plate type will greatly affect the result.

Make sure to have the screws fit everything in a stable way (if you hear weird noise from your fan it's most likely the plastic lampshades resonating)
