Stackable Seeds Dryer

Dry, store, organize..

as a passionate gardener or grower there once comes the point when you want keep seeds from your plants and keep it somehow dried and organized. Since there is no description on those tiny seeds, this system is maybe a little helper for you.

The containers and the stand are come also in a bit shorter size ( 28 mm). Those are ideal to send it in a small package or oversize letter to a friend. 

The containers are stack able and come with a stand and a lid. The pile can easily ventilate and prevents the content from moisture.  

The grid (mesh size) in the bottom and the lids are customizable in the slicer in combination with a manipulator part. 

If you are not so familiar with slice manipulating, there are also two pre-sliced .3mf files attached.

Slice instructions for the mesh: (based on prusaSlicer 2.6)

1. open the container or lid part where you want to have a mesh
2. add the ascending manipulator part to the previous opened part
3. set the manipulator part to no (0) top solid and no (0) bottom layers
4. set the (manipulator) infill to grid ,
5.  set the density to your needed mesh size. 55% comes out very fine, good for basil seeds. 35% rather coarse, good for pepper seeds. Just try it out and print the bottom layers for testing only. 

At least the mesh results depend on your nozzle and filament properties. A good adhesion on the bed is recommended to keep the first thin lines in place.

60% density is the finest printable mesh on a prusa Mk3s with 0.4 mm nozzle and PLA.  

Post processing:

The parts are designed for clamp in each other and have no tolerances. You had to sand it a bit if they not fit without force.
