This mod for the handwheel gets the speed down, torque up, easier to control speed with pedal, easier to turn handwheel, still fits in cabinet, still sews faster than I can, sews all the denim I can cram under the presser foot. This is a work in progress and I doubt your printer will print to the same dimensions as mine, so expect to do some trimming and sanding to get a perfect fit.
I used 5 layers and 50 percent infill for the handwheel parts. I'd recommend at least 75 percent infill for the motor mount block. Or just make it 100 percent.
