The feed-lips are a bit thin, this is so that cartridge is seated high in the magazine for reliable feeding, thus smaller layer heights are advisable.
(I'd advise you to add to the thickness in this area until it does not fit in you rifle, then back off a bit. You want it as thick as possible for your rifle)
Thick-ish piano-wire for a strong spring as an under sprung double-feed magazine ejects cartridges.
Sanding of the foot's lips may be required, although you want a tight fit.
