Discounter branded products are significantly cheaper and often just as good as the original - however, the supply of consumables can be a problem.
I have printed these trimmer blades for the Ferrex lawn trimmer (nor sure if bought from Aldi, Hofer, or Lidl) in PETG. They work pretty well but won't resist hitting a stone wall.
I guess Nylon or high-Shore TPU might be an even better choice- I have ordered some and will report my findings in the near future.
