Replacement earcup mount for the Fostex TR-X00 headphones from Drop.
Story: In 2020, a friend of mine's brother accidentally sat down on his headphones and snapped off the hinge section on his TR-X00. I was asked if I could remake the bracket while maintaining as many stock parts as possible. It was one of my earliest design challenges and overall it worked out well! The photo of it attached was from a prototype to get the arc right.
Printing: It was designed for supports on the build plate only at the hinge section. I added tear drops at the holes to have zero need for support. This was printed in PLA but it would be best to print in PETG. Add mouse ears to the ends to prevent warping, or print with a brim for extra adhesion. 0.1mm layer height is recommended with all walls.
