Hey Guys,
after a year of weekly use, i can finaly share this file with you.
This is a transportcase for the 3D-Connexion Space-Mouse (round Version), with a nice holder for the case.
The most important design requirement for this case was that I could carry the device in any orientation, without putting force on the fragile top part of the spacemouse.
The mouse is not flopping around in the case, but is held down by the top part.
Without this design choice, the heavy base could rest on the fragile top, potentially damaging the internals, or leading to "stick drift" as experienced by people in some forums.
The case stores the spacemouse and the USB-Cable, and is printed in 2 part and screwed together.
In addition to the case, I uploaded two holder for the case itself.
The first ist for general use with countersink skrews.
The other one ist for the use with an IKEA Skadis Pegboard
