The Vivitar 252 is a great compact flash which is popular with film photographers. It has an integrated PC sync cable which makes it easy to use with a variety of cameras. The biggest flaw I have found is that the hot shoe mount is plastic and can be fragile. I designed this bracket for two use cases:
- Mounting the 252 rotated 90 degrees from its original design
- Mounting a flash with a broken hot shoe
