I wanted to attach my RunCam 5 Orange Edition to my Airsoft gun and after looking around the web for one that fit my needs I couldn't find one. I decided to make one from scratch that fits my needs. This will hold the camera tight with the back plate on and I am including two back plates, one with a hole for ventilation and one that is solid.
I am also including STEP files for all you remixers out there.
I used 4 m2.5x4x3.5 threaded brass inserts and 4 m2.5x6 socket head screws.
I printed at 100% infill, 4 perimeters and with organic supports for the body with the brass insert holes blocked from supports. Print on the open end of the body with the camera face side up.
I printed the back plates at 100% infill, 4 perimeters with no supports.
I used JustMaker PLA Pro matte black. This stuff is cheap and prints great.
