Imperial Fume Extractor Hood Replacement Switch

This is a replacement switch for an Imperial fume extractor hood. The small plastic tabs holding them in in this model get brittle with time and then break off. This renders the unit useless, depending on which selector breaks, the power or the fan switch.

This replacement part is for the unit seen in the picture and works flawlessly, although it is not seated as tightly as the original. Since the original tabs were still stuck in the switch and had to be forcefully removed i cannot conclude if some measurements are off by a fraction of a mm or if the socket is just worn.

The functionality is 100% restored, just the lightguide from the original is not present, so the light is a bit dimmer than original.

This fume extractor is a bit older, but this just results in spare parts being rare or not available at all, this replacement saved me quite some time and money and I hope it does the same for many more people out there. 

Print settings:

I went with PLA,

-0.4mm Nozzle

-0.08mm layer height, first layer 0.2mm

-2 Walls, 3 top and bottom layers.

-15% Gyroid infill

-5mm/s movement for any overhangs over 25%

takes around 3 grams of Filament and less than an hour to print

I recommend an off white / cream color to match best, I just had black handy at the time of making.
