When Ryan at V1e.com released the LowRider v3, there were several electronics cases made for it almost immediately, and this seems to be ongoing. While there were a couple of cases aimed at the Primo and even the MP3DP printer, nothing seemed quite as prolific as the variety for the new machine.

So instead of.inventing new cases for thise other machines, I decided to make an adapter to mount those cases to pretty much any vertical surface.

This is intended to use 2 screws at 45° to mount to the surface, so I guess it's a no-go for extrusion, but should be good for wood almost anywhere.

Edit: I've added a second option (Pictures coming soon) a little more minimalist, and a touch more versatile.

You  can either cut a small section of strut as you would for the LR3 (it needs to be 80mm high with M5 screw holes 68mm apart) or use the “temporary strut” part from the LowRider3 file repository. This fastens to the part with 2 M5×25-30mm screws and nuts. You then need a couple of #6 or #8 wood screws to fasten the blocks to a vertical surface. Hang the LR3 based case.from.the strut and call it a day.

Printed on my MP3DP v4. Layer height 0.3333mm. No supports, 2 perimeters, 30% infill. Printed in PLA. Needs 2 pieces. I printed them on their sides, but could print as oriented.
