This is an adapter to tilt the Display to eliminate the glare from the sun.
It is designed for my Joying 11.6" 2023 Headunit (SKU JY-UZD11N8) and a VW T5.2 Transporter Dashboard, but might also fit other headunits and dashboards.
The final part consists of two printed parts. The bottom one is the adaptor between headunit and the top part, which then holds the screen.
The printed parts also has enough room between the screen and the headunit itself, so that you can hide the SIM-card tray or an USB-cable behind it.
Recommended Hardware:
- 6 pcs M3 Heatset Insert
- 4 pcs M2.5x25mm screw + washers
- 4 pcs M3x25screw + 2washers
- 2 pcs M3x16 screw
- 8 pcs M3x16 or similar to mount the original Joying plastic parts to the Top-Part
I recomend printing the parts in some heat and UV resistant material like ASA.
