The model consists of 24 pieces that need to be arranged in a way to form a cubic knot structure. I love brain-teasers, so my first model had to be a puzzle-like model. The brain-teaser contest is a great reason to finally learn some CAD.
If you want a challenge, I suggest you print it in a single colour, since this makes it harder to figure out how to assemble it. You can print it in 3 different colours, which makes it a little easier to figure out how everything goes together. I also think it is much nicer to look at when assembled if you use different colours.
I added the solution to this puzzle as a PDF, but I suggest you try to solve it without looking at it first.

Printing
The model consists of simple blocks that are easy to print. You can print the whole thing in one go as shown in the image above. I used the following settings:
- Material: PLA
- Nozzle: 0.2mm
- Infill: 10%
- Walls: 3
- No supports or brim
To make sure the model fits perfectly together, you can make a small test with one large piece and 3 small ones. The small pieces should fit perfectly into the large piece as shown in the image. If it is too tight, or there is too much play, you need to slightly adjust the size of the large piece in the slicer.
You have to print the following pieces:
- 6x large piece
- 16x small piece
- 2x small piece with gap
Or for the 3 coloured one:
- 2x large piece each colour
- 5x small piece each colour
- each of the three missing parts (small piece and 2x small piece with gap) in one of the three colours
