I needed a warning sign to put on my 3D printer when I take it to pop up markets, and this is what I came up with, and by request, a made a few different variants to let you mount it in different ways.

Model Variations:

Some links below are referral links and using them helps me to keep me publishing free designs for everybody to enjoy, or feel free to leave me a tip on my Ko-fi if you like my work.

No Mount - this has a flat back, and is meant to be mounted by something like Command Strips or VHB Tape (if you want to make sure your sign doesn't walk off)

10x3 Magnets - has two pockets in the back for a pair of 10x3mm neodymium magnets, that I hold in place with a drop of rubberized super glue.

20mm Screw Spacing - this is meant to take a pair of M3-8 socket head screws, and drop-in T-nuts, so you can mount it to 2020 or 2040 extrusion. The holes are spaced so it will also mount to a vertical piece of 2040 extrusion (like the side of the Z-tower on your 3D printer).

If you want me to make any other variations of the mounting, just let me know and I can upload a version just for you.

Print Settings:

I print these at 0.25mm for the first layer, and 0.20mm layers after that (with these settings, set the color change pause after layer 12, before layer 13). You'll want to make sure that your outline overlap setting is dialed in, to ensure good print quality on the surface around the embossed text across the top.

I'd recommend you do NOT make the color change happen immediately after the main face finishes printing as it reduces the readability of the embossed text across the top - you want the color change to happen 2-3 layers before the bottom text completes.
