This increases the size of the ALS release button. Most importantly, it extends it inward, toward the belt and provides a grippier texture. It improves the draw speed and reduces the chance of missing the button during the draw.
This model has a built-in support that you will need to snap off and throw away after printing.
This is installed using a healthy amount of superglue, applied to the inner walls of the socket. After test fitting onto your button to insure it fits, apply a healthy coat of super glue to the inner walls of the button, then push it into place over the button.
If the superglue ever fails and the button comes off, you will still have the original button, and be none the worse for wear.
Print using your choice of material, about 40% infill. Your printer will have to do some bridging for this model. Most printers will handle it easily, but some may struggle.
