the next in my series of boxes with clean hexagonal outlines for ease of stacking. This one has the same outward dimensions as the first two designs, but incorporates a decorative inset on the exterior faces.
I intend to continue this series using the same outside shape and dimensions, but differing decorative elements.
There are two versions, one with insets on all sides (See Test Print Pics), and one without insets on the top and bottom of the box, leaving both of those areas flat.
- The version with Insets on all sides will require supports to print properly.
- The version with the flat top and bottom should not need supports.
Test Print was done on a Bambu Labs X1C
- 0.20mm Strength Profile
- 6 Walls, 25% Infill (Rectilinear)
- Esun PLA+ Tan PLA & Bambu Lab Support for PLA
Optionally, two 6mm x 2mm magnets can be used to secure the lid when closed.
