At the end of post a little tutorial for improve your Bambulab or OrcaSlicer configuration for The 100 !
Tell me if you need help to import configuration files.
For little printer :
For people who have a small printer but want to make it, the files are available here !

Thank for Zach Mitchell to create this !
New Update from 18.11.23 :
Now on the Y axis a version with linear rails is available ! (The linear rail is a MGN 12 H 300 mm)
The Beginning :
My friend and me stumbled upon this project 5 months ago, and we immediately got hooked. We found the printer to be very efficient and quite attractive. Nevertheless, we decided to revisit some aspects of it to tailor it to our preferences.
Our work is not intended to make it more efficient, but rather to make it more attractive, and sometimes easier to assemble.
The Klipper configuration used and provided in the file. An OrcaSlicer / Bambulabstudio configuration is available.
The Inspiration :
We brainstormed an alternative version of the printer that could be inspired by a video game set in space, and naturally, we turned to a game we play, Star Citizen.
The principal inspiration come from to a little bag in the game. we take that only for the color.

All we would need is a green screen and we would have the whole thing. :D
The Upgrade :
After that, we downloaded Matt's model and started reviewing the aesthetic of the machine which we found too cubic. Matt will confirm to me that the aesthetics of this machine were not the priority and I understand that, so we took care of it. ;D

Seen like that, you might say to yourself that we just added chamfers…And you're right!!
The first part of the work was to break the angles as much as possible in order to make them less aggressive.

- After this stage, we worked on new parts based on Matt's work and we simply reworked the aesthetic on some and added new things on others.
- We reworked the bed once again to make it more aesthetic (in our opinion) and we added the possibility of adding two linear bearings on each axis to ensure better translation.

- We have also revised the part which holds the head and the belts in order to offer it better support and greater possibility of adjustment thanks to numerous new screw passages.

- The carriage has been redesigned for a new version only for esthetics. The same song after all !

- The printer's feet have also been redesigned to provide more room for our machine and therefore better support.

- We decided to use a Voron extruder, because we are fan boys and it doesn't cost much ;D
- The only addition on our part and the support of the latter in order to adapt it to our machine

- Finally, we redesigned the entire lower part of the machine as well as the location of the electronics which comes from an old Ender 3 which has since become completely obsolete :D
- Our support will welcome our BigtreeTech PI and our BigtreeTech SKR E3 V3 mini.

- There is also the location of the electrical outlet which has been integrated into the chassis of the printer.

- Finally, we used 2 Bosch profiles (20x20x250) at the rear for better rigidity and the possibility of passing the cables neatly and to be able to add a spool support or anything else if you wish.
Conclusion :
We had a lot of fun working on this project. We are still developing another version of this machine and new improvements will arrive soon. We hope, thank you for taking the time to read !
