Macintosh Compatibility:
Fits the Macintosh DB-25 SCSI external bus.
Designed to fit IIci, IIcx, Quadra 700, and PowerPC 6100.
Assembly notes
Pause the print to add the SCSI insert (printed beforehand) so it sits flush with the case and allows a 5 mm LED to glow the SCSI logo.
Top/bottom hardware
Top case: requires an M2.5 insert (d3.5 × 5 mm).
To close the case, use an M2.5 screw, 6 mm long.
Closing the case: two M2.5 screws pass through the mounting holes of the DB-25 connector and the PCB. Slightly modify the DB-25 connector to allow this to work properly.
Printing settings
The SCSI insert and the activity-light guide are printed at a layer height of 0.12 mm.
The rest of the case is printed at a layer height of 0.20 mm.
LED/light guide
To make the SCSI logo glow, add the LED as shown in the reference image, since a light guide that effectively directs the small SMD LED could not be designed.
BlueSCSI V2 PCB compatibility
This model is designed for the BlueSCSI v2 PCB version 2023.06a, which includes a hole on the PCB.
