This is a theoretical 1HP siren for ACA's Screamer series. Uses the core of an ACA Hurricane MKII, now as a vertical omnidirectional naturally aspirated siren.

Probably would be a Klaxon SS6 competitor. Doubt it would be able to compete with a FS Model 2.

README:

All stls are already in the correct print orientation.

Motor:
Any 2.8 or 2.9 inch "Samsung" blower motor.  Right now the motor cover only accommodates 2.8" but  will make a 2.9" version later.

I'm using a 250v 8uf capacitor, but i will later add a larger junction box that fits a 10uf!

Hardware:
M3x10mm machine screws (13x)

M3x8mm machine screws (8x) (hold hat and junction box)

M3 nut (13x)

M2x6 machine screws (hold the junction box lid on)

M3x5.7 threaded inserts (7x) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BCRZZS3

Rotor installation:

 8mm to 8mm 14mm OD 25mm L shaft coupler

https://a.co/d/0iklOR8R

10 gram slotted weights (20x)  This link gets you 3 rotors worth of weight!

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2Q2QW43

To secure the weights, simply push them into the bottom of the rotor.  They should just slip right in.  If needed, you can tap them in with a hammer.  These are made of steel, so it should be alright to take some hammer taps.

Put a set screw in both top holes on the shaft coupler.  leave the bottom two screw holes empty.  Then tap the coupler into the rotor from the top with a plastic mallet or plastic screwdriver handle.

Make sure the set screws are lined up with the access cutouts in the rotor hub.  Don't use a hammer, you can damage the soft aluminum.

Once you have assembled the siren, you should secure the siren with tape or bolt it to a mount (M4 machine screws).  This siren iis compatible with Demetrius's 1/3 scale ACA siren mounts!

If u don't do this, the siren will spin on startup like that Screamer did at Sirencon that one year.
