This is a slim box for an engagement ring. It's small enough to be able to hide pretty easily so the surprise isn't ruined. When the box is opened the ring will automatically rise to 45 degrees so it is displayed perfectly. when it's closed the ring lays flat in the box. There's a little notch on the ring holder that catches when it's opened to display the ring. The pictures of the assembly are customized for my wife, but the files are blank. I can upload parts files if anyone wants to customize it for themselves. When closed, the box is about 22mm thick. The ring holder (middlethin) has an inner diameter of 20mm and thickness of the ring I used was 2.81mm.
I printed ring holder with clear resin and spray painted with with clear paint and it turned out pretty good.
