The model provides a method to hold 1, 2, or a small pyramid of 3 SodaStream plastic bottles on a fridge shelf, avoiding they roll around. The bottle space has a diameter of 90 mm, the size of classic SodaStream plastic bottles plus a minimum of tolerance.
The model for two bottles is 200 mm wide, making the model ok for all average printers (mostly 220 mm wide) but too wide for minis. The single bottle version is about 100 mm wide, ok for most known printers.
A single support is usually ok, keeping the bottles only slightly unbalanced. To improve the stability two version of the support can be printed, holding the bottle completely.
The size marches the “classic” fornat bottles, other formats seem to work as well.
Printing instructions
The STL files are oriented in the suggested printing direction, on one the sides. The border is 3 mm, if 3 or more walls are used the infill fraction is mostly irrelevant.
In the model showed in the pictures I used Overture transparent PETG, 3 walls e 15% infill, given the property of the material this is robust enough. For PLA I would suggest the same setup. If you want more rigidity 4 walls or 100% infill can be used.
