I designed this tool to make it easy to lift a silicone liner basket out of the air fryer. The liners came with little mitts that are awkward to use and tongs are no better.
With this, you tilt it a little and slide one side into the basket loop, then tilt a little the other way to slide the other side into its loop, then straighten up and lift it out. Very simple and very easy.
It has a handle long enough to keep your hand away from the hot basket. And it has a generous handle to grip.
I designed it in Fusion 360 (file included). It is parametric, so you could change the parameters to fit a different size.
It is made to fit a 10qt basket. The distance between the basket’s side loops is 130mm.
