Elegantly Simple Goblet Candleholder

Printed using Simplify3D's vase mode in about 2 hours using Polymaker's clear transparent PETG filament. Its frosted surface radiates a soft glow that's at once relaxing and warm. This is a wonderful gift everybody can appreciate and enjoy.

I printed the object shown on a Prusa i3 MK3 using Polymaker's clear transparent PETG filament. The job was sliced using Simplify3D's vase mode with 12 bottom layers. Though the Prusa has a 0.4mm nozzle, I pushed the extrusion width in S3D to 0.6mm and slowed down the print speed to 4000mm/min to ensure that the extruder would cleanly keep up with that filament volume.

Recognizing that every machine is different, I've included 4 different STL's of this design, so that you can choose the one that best fits your printer and your requirements for the object you want to create for yourself or as a gift.

CandleholderOutline.stl is a surface, not a volume. I find that S3D's vase mode works better with surfaces than volumes. So I printed the object shown here using this surface file and the settings described above.
