I designed this to allow me to wall mount the Anker PowerCore+ units I have whilst they charge so they are on hand and easy to grab when heading out the house. Couldn't find one for this larger Anker battery pack so designed one myself.
This is the second iteration featuring some changes after the initial prototype.
Changes:
- ‘back wall’ is thicker to allow for less flex when mounting.
- Radius sides continue round to the rear - neater and less material
- Screw mounting points are countersunk deeper,
- There is a slight chamfer internally at the base to make it easier to slide the battery out .
The hole in base prevents suction (fit is quite tight) on the battery and also allows the bracket to be mounted in outdoor situations and not have a buildup of rainwater etc. (Obviously battery is not waterproof). Side mounting of the bracket is also possible as tolerances are quite tight so the battery is gripped quite well.
I have printed a couple of these stood on their base with no support and only minimal brim adhesion.
