Note:
I modeled this for the “Front Right”. I have recently discovered that if you flip it to the left the PTFE tube no longer sits on the top and the spool does not turn well. If you want to install this on the left side you will need to “Mirror” the model before you print it.
I wanted my spool to the side and up front of the printer. This allowed me to move the printer farther back against the wall and also makes for an easy spool install.
You will need to insert 3 M3 heatserts into the spool peg and require 3 M3x18mm SHCS to assemble it. The peg also requires 3 lengths of tube (4mm x 2mm @ 60mm long) and you press them into the provided channels.
The full assembly mounts to the extrusion same as the small panel clips that hold on the plexi.
