A few 5.56 NATO rounds I modeled up to use as snap caps or dummy rounds. All three variants are able to feed and extract in my rifle. The Spec variants are exact to NATO spec dimensions and the ThickRim has a roughly 0.3mm thicker rim for more reliable use. The AR bolt likes to smash these when printed in PLA so go with the ThickRim if you're planning on using them in the rifle.
They can and will get stuck if your printer tolerances are off or used too many times since plastic doesn't hold up to the bolt closing well, use at your own risk.
