Had to redo my old UA/HUL module, so i designed it quick in fusion360 and printed it.
The holes in the shell are 3,5mm in diameter, so you can cut in a thread, either with m4 screws or with a 4mm thread cuter.
You will need 3x m4x8mm flat head screws to mount the plate to the shell.
In the plate are 2x 4mm holes so you can mount it to your helmet.
The shell has four 3mm holes, wich should be drilled out with a 3mm drill, because of printer tolerances.
In this holes there sit 3mm leds, you will also need a piece of plexiglas for the front, wich should have a size of 12x5mm.
The rectengular cutouts on top of the shell are for 5mm leds, wich sit on top of a plexiglas cover. I might design a holder for this.
Also there is a switch cutout on the back for a standard breadboard-friendly SPDT slide switch from adafruit.
UPDATE 14.10.2019:
Designed a led holder for 5mm leds.
Needs to be printed in transparent filament with 20-25% infill, no supports.
Press-fit!
