I've been creating Halloween displays with posable skeletons for several years now. This year, I wanted to up one of my displays by creating an oversized vintage fishing bobber to emphasize the fishing scene. Plus, it was a great opportunity to continue learning 3d modeling.
Information
- Created with Ender 3 Pro
- Won't float (hollow interior so water would drain from sprinkler system/storms)
- 4 small holes at the bottom to run wire through to secure to the ground
- hole through the top to run fishing line, paracord, etc. to simulate fishing
Print instructions
- used white PLA (spray painted the red as desired) but any color will work if you plan to paint
- 100mm print speed (quality came out really well but can slow down if you want)
- Tree supports touching the bed only (not much waste but was good to have to ensure the top printed flat)
- 5% infill
