I made this Halloween Wearable to support costume wings!
It utilizes two telescoping poles and can be mounted to your back with sturdy thread. I have it mounted to a posture corrector because I found it provided the best support but the whole setup is extremely light and can be mounted to just about anything that's securely fastened to your body.
Big & Flashy + Small & Stashy
The telescoping wings allow you to quickly collapse the wings, even when they're on your body! This is very useful when you're out and about and need to, for example, walk through a door.
As you can see, the final result is big and flashy, easily adding 2' in height and width to your costume's profile! Despite this, you can easily telescope it down to a human-sized profile without any disassembly or discomfort.
