This is a combination of a doorstop and a stop sign. A doorstopper sign! The doorstopper sign (say it 3 times fast) is a functional and stylish addition to your home or office. It does everything you can expect a regular doorstop to do, but it adds some decoration to a normally quite boring item.
Printing:
Base: TPU, PETG, or any strong material, 0.25mm layer height.
Pole: PLA, 0.25mm layer height, 3mm Brim.
Sign: PLA, 0.15mm layer height.
No supports
Tips in general:
When printing the sign, if you have enough colors, you can add a color change where the text starts printing to make the letters more visible.
If you print the carpet version there is no need for any non-slip tape.
If you have a smooth floor surface you will want to add some non-slip tape to help it stay in place.
If you print the carpet version you don't need any tape.
When you slice it, I recommend you use rectilinear infill to focus strength where the door presses on it. Just make sure that it looks like this:
The infill goes in the direction of the arrows.
Assembly:
Just put the pole in the base first, and then put the sign on top.
