Update: I've become aware that the section may not fit most standard Jowo #6 sections as this was designed while I was using the Fountain Pen Revolution nib & feed units and was unaware that there are 2 different form factors.
While fully printable and usable if finished with the appropriate taps, this is an example pen that uses the BG Artforums Mandrels. It's created as a visual reference for turning on a desktop lathe.
The taps & dies used for this are M14-1.0, M11-0.75, & M7.5-0.5.
You will need these tools to finish the pen because even at 0.25mm nozzle and 0.8mm layer height, the resolution of the printers isn't fine enough to make this work as-printed.
The mandrel print included is my reverse-engineering of the BG Artforums Mandrels. The pen is entirely my design, but made to fit the minimum requirements of mounting to the associated mandrels. The dimensions for the nib & feed unit were taken from FPNibs.com and by measuring a Fountain Pen Revolution nib unit. Some nib units will have an additional shoulder that needs to be drilled out of the section.
I printed my examples using an Ultimaker S7 0.25mm nozzle & 0.07-0.13mm adaptive layer height and on the Bambu X1C using 0.4mm nozzle & 0.08mm layers. No support is needed, but a brim is necessary for proper bed adhesion.
The uploaded files are for the black pieces shown on the mandrel rods in the picture. The gray body is a variation with additional threads in the barrel and cap which can be produced from the same mandrels.
