I saw a similar bowden coupler and really liked the idea. So I made my own version which works with both, the standard PC4-01 M10 bowden couplers for 4mm bowden tubes or with the original 4.4mm reverse bowden tubes of the Snapmaker J1. The second one uses a two part design, which screws on and tightens the bowden tube this way.
This design allows to make a simple transition from the original bowden tubes of the J1 to the more common 4mm ones.
It was designed for magnets with a diameter of 4mm and a thickness of 5mm. This creates a strong connection which still is easy to detach. You could probably also use two stacked 4x2mm magnets, since this size might be more common.
