Simple Spool Holder to install the spools inside the printer. This makes them more easily accessible, saves space behind the printer and allows you to immediately see which filament is loaded. I decided to make use of the two individual print heads of the printer and made them in black and silver filament with the paint function in Luban.
You need four M3x12mm countersunk screws to attach the side pieces to the centerpiece.
You can either install them centered on the sides with one screw in the middle, or you can install them towards the front or back of the printer with two screws. I used some M3x12 cylinder head screws to install the holders.
This model uses the smaller 688 bearings instead of the more common 608 bearings. You need 4 bearings for each spool holder.
The spool holder is inspired by “The Ultimate Spool Holder” by G.design, but I ended up remodeling every piece and adjust it to the dimensions of the J1.
