This is a clamp that is supposed to hold a small and lightweight decorative shelf to the Wall.

It is made for a DIN 7991, M6, anything longer than 35mm should work.
It would be best if you also had a M6 DIN 562 thin square nut.
The Holes mounting the thing to the wall are sized M5.
The clamp can handle 12mm board up to 22 mm.
I use it with the in Germany typical 18mm board and it works like a charm. keep in mind that this way of mounting may be reusable, but not quite the strongest way for your wood board.
