Wishing Well created for a friends wedding. Made to be printed on a large format printer but may be able to be shrunk but have not tried it. This well is still in progress as the wedding is a while away but feel free to add to it if you like. I did print the chain on my flashforge creator pro as i needed a very fine grade so it would work. Also the Bucket was printed in two colours (Dual Filament) on the same printer. So unless you have a dual filament printer you may have to paint it or try changing filament at heights.

I printed everything on the large format with a 0.6 Nozzle to speed up prints.

I did the base in Overture Rock PLA

The Wood Uprights and Truss in eSun Brown and the Roof in eSun Twinkling Galaxy Black. The Bucket in eSun Wood PLA (Not like wood at all) and eSun Brown.

The winding handle does turn and i Drilled a 2mm hole at the end and glued a small offcut of filament in place to stop it pulling through. Also drilled a 2mm hole near the centre to tie the chain on so it would wind up and down.

I printed the chain with a brim of 1mm then picked it off but you can try different things if you feel your printer is stable. I drew the chain with flat 45 degree sides they sit on during print so mildly stable. i did not need support for it.

The Crank handle however i did print with support and then gave it a slight sanding to smooth it.

I did draw the sides of the roof with a lip which did not print in the end and I have not removed it yet so if you add support it may show up. Mine slightly lifted of the plate during print because of it. I will hopefully add a repaired one soon.

*** Updated with Repaired roof 5/11/2023 - Removed inset that can cause it to lift during print as well as changed angle on overhang to 50 degrees so should not need support

Printed on Creality CR-10 large format with a 0.6 Nozzle at 0.32mm layer height at high speed. So I cannot tell you the print time.

I printed 5 layers of brick including the top piece but you can mix it up with more or less. You will need to print two uprights and two roof panels.

I think that is everything. So I hope all goes well (LOL)

*** Just an add in - the embossed names do not appear in the files i added them to a separate file using Microsoft 3D Builder***
