This is a replacement pump grip I made to improve the feel of the Buzz Bee Torrent. I’ve always loved the look and function of the Buzz Bee Torrent, and a while back I found one for a good price, so I decided to pick it up. Now, having only ever seen pictures of them, I never really got a sense for how small the grips actually are on this blaster. I have no idea who Buzz Bee designed these grips for, but it definitely wasn’t me. Additionally, the front grip of my torrent arrived broken, so I was even more motivated to replace that part. I did my best to imitate the look of the original parts as much as possible while also making them comfortable to use with larger hands, and I’m pretty happy with the results.
The front grip of the Torrent can be unscrewed and replaced with the new grip. The parts are designed to use four 11/32” long 2-56 screws, but toy screws should work as well if you have any extras on hand, although they may be a bit harder to screw in.
The Torrent won’t be winning performance awards anytime soon, but this part hopefully makes this novel blaster a little more fun to use. I had a great time making and using this part, and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!
